A Refractory Products Division of Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd., Dalmia Magnesite Corporation has been producing 92% MgO of dead burned magnesite since 1958. In addition to this, the company has also been producing magnesia-carbon bricks for steel plants and high performance-low cement alumina castables since 1984.

The company’s association with Dalmia Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research has helped it develop dry rapid hardening cement material conforming to ASTM - C - 928 for repair of damaged concrete, and non-shrink grout conforming to ASTM - C - 1107.

Dalmia Magnesite Corporation specialises in iron and non-magnetic basic ramming mixes for induction furnaces with chrome and alumina additives. The refractory products cater to the following industries:

The electronic division is manned by professionally qualified people and has the latest equipment to offer that include monolithic chip capacitors manufactured with international specifications. It has been set up in collaboration with Nova Cap USA and the plant has been supplied by Panama Systems and Machines in USA. This division in Bangalore has the capacity to manufacture 120 million capacitors per year.

Processes like printing layers, trimming and putting these tapes inside the oven and finishing it off in an isolated press is performed with precision. It is only when quality is assured that a 100% reliable Dalmia Ceramic Strip Capacitor is produced.
